At the recent Wind Energy Asia Exhibition, Green Filtec showcased its cutting-edge underwater noise reduction and corrosion prevention products. Additionally, Green Filtec extended its invitation to the Asia-Pacific regional manager of Seal For Life (SFL) to unveil technical insights during the exhibition forum, expressing strong support and recognition for SFL’s EasyQote brand. Green Filtec believes that EasyQote aligns with its core sustainability principles and hopes to contribute to the establishment of an operational supply chain in the Taiwanese market through the introduction of this product.
As an island nation surrounded by the sea and situated in a crucial junction of ocean currents, Taiwan’s pipelines are susceptible to corrosion in its humid environment and hot summers. EasyQote’s corrosion-resistant tape not only prevents and remedies corrosion but also boasts a lifespan of over 30 years. Its simple installation method is suitable for underwater construction, particularly catering to the maintenance needs of offshore wind turbines. EasyQote products have already received certification from prominent wind turbine manufacturers such as Vestas, DNV, and Siemens in European wind farms, offering more efficient solutions for maintenance units.
Green Filtec’s underwater noise reduction product, developed vigorously last year with support from the Ministry of Economic Affairs’ Industrial Technology Bureau through a technology project subsidy to the Institute of Science, is one of its key initiatives. Through collaboration among industry, government, and academia, Green Filtec seeks further cooperation opportunities. These rubber materials do not cause seawater pollution, can form long-term bonds with underwater foundations, and demonstrate high durability.
In addition to meeting the noise reduction needs of offshore wind turbines, Green Filtec also plans to apply this product to the soundproofing and vibration damping requirements of high-precision plants and port engineering projects. Green Filtec is committed to making active contributions to Taiwan’s green energy development and continues to pursue innovation to promote the application and development of green technologies.
