Towards Green Production: Greenfiltec Southern Taiwan Science Park Plant Completed and Operational, Creating a Diamond-Class Green Building

On the 26th, Greenfiltec’s Southern Taiwan Science Park plant, equipped with the leading AMC micro-pollution control technology for the semiconductor and panel industries, held its completion ceremony. This 2425-ping (approximately 8,000 square meters) plant is designed as a “Diamond-Class Green Building,” infusing the Southern Taiwan Science Park semiconductor community with green and sustainable initiatives. With a projected monthly production capacity of 50,000 units in the future, the plant is expected to contribute to an annual revenue of 500 to 600 million New Taiwan Dollars.
Together, they participated in the ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate the completion and inauguration of the Greenfiltec plant.

The ribbon-cutting ceremony was attended by various dignitaries and industry representatives, including Mr. Ho Chin-Tsang, Director-General of the Small and Medium Enterprise Administration under the Ministry of Economic Affairs, Ms. Cheng Hsiu-Jung, Deputy Director-General of Southern Taiwan Science Park Administration, Mr. Lin Jung-Chuan, Director-General of the Economic Development Bureau of Tainan City Government, Dr. Cheng Ying-Yao, President of Chung Shan Medical University, and representatives from various industries. Together, they witnessed an important green milestone for the industry. Chairman Huang Ming-Wen of Greenfiltec stated that the company is committed to promoting environmental protection and energy-saving technologies through continuous innovation. They have invested in the development of eco-friendly materials and bioenergy while expanding their market and international business to contribute to the global transition towards green solutions. The Southern Taiwan Science Park plant has implemented a Manufacturing Execution System (MES) to ensure production traceability and process standardization. Automation has been adopted to ensure product quality stability. Additionally, the plant features a TAF-grade filter efficiency analysis laboratory to guarantee product reliability and efficiency.

Director-General Ho Chin-Tsang of the Small and Medium Enterprise Administration under the Ministry of Economic Affairs pointed out that carbon emissions are a crucial global issue. Greenfiltec, offering comprehensive solutions, can play a significant role in assisting small and medium-sized enterprises in carbon reduction. Furthermore, it can encourage more companies to invest in Taiwan, setting an exemplary model for corporate social responsibility. Deputy Director-General Cheng Hsiu-Jung of the Southern Taiwan Science Park Administration expressed that it is an honor for the Southern Taiwan Science Park to have Greenfiltec choose it as their base. The park is a vital hub for the global semiconductor industry, equipped with cutting-edge semiconductor technology and research capabilities. The inclusion of Greenfiltec further elevates the semiconductor industry’s yield rates, making it the hidden champion of “Hushan,” the guardian mountain of the country.

Greenfiltec was established in 2014 and achieved its 3R goals (reducing filter waste, reusing filter frames, and recycling filters) through product modular and composite design, effectively reducing customer costs. The company’s current customer base includes global semiconductor wafer foundries, panel factories, and DRAM manufacturers, with a significant focus on supplying 12-inch advanced processes. Greenfiltec meets various customer-specific requirements and accelerates the development of new products for next-generation advanced processes. Its goal of becoming a key supplier of semiconductor advanced process consumables serves as the driving force behind the company’s growth.
